Post 10: My experience in the blogs

Hi, throghout the semester, we have written several blogs about our personal experiences, I believe that in order to practice our writing in English. I think practicing writing in another language is fine, but the fact of doing sacredly one in each class, delivers a type of pressure that eventually becomes tedious, I think instead of doing one all classes, should only be done from time to time , in order to be returned something entertaining and not only do it by obligation. I think the blogs have helped us to express perhaps ideas that we had never externalized, but using it as a tool to learn English is not much use. In the future, as I had mentioned, I would like to decrease the number of blogs and maybe, when we made them out on completely free subjects, in which each one could write about something that you like personally, about some book, movie or music. I think more than make us write blogs we deveria to teach other things, grammatical rules, practice more pron...

Post 9: A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

Hi!, how's everything going? This semester has been very hard, As in addition to being a short semester, My academic load is a lot.     To begin I have eight subjects, those that they were, anthropology, ethical, social research methodology II, fundamentals of the social intervention, economy II, a faculty transversal, English and macroeconomics. Of all these, my favorite subject is macroeconomics, which is not imparted in the faculty of social science, if not, in the faculty of law. Is a subject in where it is taught   about the national economy and the how this works, in connection with foreign countries. I learn about the market, the because and the as are produced the problems, how currency exchange rates work, among others. I like the macroeconomics because is a subjects real, is a subjects that prepares you in some way for the outside life, and to teach the like and the because things happen, whereas at present, the economy is the basis of life. ...

Post 8: Carrer-Related Website

Website: Hello, in this post to the blog I would like to tell you about one of my favorite sites for when I have to do a job in the university or I have a free time and I want something to read. The degree in social work of the University of Chile, dictates much of the rest of the races of the same nature at the national level, in the university is prepared almost for the same level of work that our own teachers a burden, from the first year we are given a solid base to investigate and create jobs that fit the height of any publication magazine. This is why the page mentioned below is of the utmost importance. The social work magazine of the Universidad de Concepción (http://www.revistatsudec.cl/), is one of the few social work journals, which are still active and publish regularly, touching on cross-cutting issues of relevance at the social level. Few social science faculties do not have more than 3 or 5 at the national level.  I use that page because it i...

Post 7: My indignation

Imagen
Chile is a unique country, it is a country with large gaps of economic inequality, with important differences in relation to political thoughts, but despite this the population becomes a general level, that Chile is a developing country.  One of the biggest indignations that my country produces is the tax on books, history and culture as the basis for achieving full growth, both individually and at a social level. Why is it difficult to get there? to education? Why is it difficult for those thirsty for knowledge? An ignorant people, it is a town easy to dominate, that is clear, the society itself in the background, what we know, what we know, the media, the media and those we want to make known, we know that applies the meritocracy to means and that in the end are only some, those who move a few threads, can transform anyone's life, but then, why is everything the same? While society is awakening, and the general view is aware of all the problems and s...

Post 6: Sexism Shown in a Fiction Character that I Love.

Imagen
Sexism is an issue that with the passing of the ages has been taking more and more, more relevance, especially considering that with the opening to education and with the expansion of this, it has been getting to put gender equality in the palestra to delve a little more on the subject, I would like to mention one of my favorite characters, which unfortunately is sexist. One of the series that has had a great acceptance of the public just came out, is Rick and Morty, a series, which like futurama, or the Simpsons, has a sarcastic humor and a little black that speaks and questions a bit many of the relevant issues for society, all from a humorous look that removes, that may sound heavy. Rick and Morty is a series that I met on entering college, in conjunction with access to netflix, the series is about an alcoholic grandfather who is a genius and a little lonely. Who together with his grandson travels the world discovering and causing new problems. For me...

Post 4: the childhood series

When I was little I spent a lot of time watching television, it was the smallest of my house, so I was always spoiled. I remember we had a small television where you could only watch the television channels open to the public, the national channels, among them, you could see several series for children, especially in the morning, before the news of the noon. Some of the children's series that I remember were the neighborhood kids, the pulentos, Diego and Glot among others. My favorite was the pulentos, they were on channel 13 and it was about 5 friends trying to make a band, the series itself was funny, most of the songs they played were rap and sticky. In addition, the animation of the television series was different from others, it consisted of people drawn in third dimension and the mice were in the shape of Viennese. Nowadays these series are no longer found, but every so often some of them are transmitted again, and when that is done, the majority of the ...
